Annapolis High School recently issued the following announcement.
AHS Drama Company attended the annual Cappies Gala at the Hippodrome in Baltimore.
The Cappies are like a high school version of Broadway’s Tony Awards.
The cast of Lost in Narnia performed on the Broadway stage in front of an audience of regional high school students. AHS also won 3 awards for their work throughout the season.
The award winners were:
Junior Critic- Lexi Danielson ( she had numerous reviews of other schools’ shows published)
Creativity- Lena Hanrahan ( for her work in writing and producing the fall play Lost in Narnia)
Best Cappies Critic Team ( for the 4th year in a row!!) - Led by Katie FitzPatrick and included Megan Barnes, Corinna Boeck, Lexi Danielson, Teresa Nguyen, Anna Wichmann, Walker Dixon, Nina Encarnacion, Amelia Farrell
