Anne Arundel County issued the following announcement on June 14.

Western District

On June 14, 2018 from approximately 3:20 a.m. to 4:30 a.m., officers responded for a series of four intruder alarms at businesses along Route 3 in Crofton and Gambrills.  Investigation revealed entry was made into the following businesses and property tampered with or stolen:

• AT&T, 1407 Main Chapel Way, Gambrills - Front door pried open. Business owners have not yet determined what, if anything, was stolen
• Wendy’s, 1064 Route 3, Crofton – Front door pried open. Cash box was tampered with. Unknown if anything was stolen.
• The Big Fish Grill, 1260 Route 3, Crofton - Front door pried open. ATM stolen.
• Fat Boy’s Crab Shack, 1651 Route 3, Crofton – Front door pried open. ATM stolen.

 These incidents are being investigated as being related due to the similarities and contemporaneous nature.  Detectives continue to investigate and any suspect description will be provided when available.
