Anne Arundel County Board of Appeals met Aug. 8.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Present: Mr. Forgo, Chairman, Mr. Middlebrooks, Vice Chairman, Mr. Devlin, Mr. Dove, Mr. Hare, and Ms. Baker Blackshear, Members.
Cathleen F. Ward, Counsel to the Board.
Absent: Mr. Breitenbach, Member.
The hearing was convened at 3:31 p.m.
The Board convened to hear testimony on BA 25-18V, Helen M. Bilzor.
Mr. Robert Miller, Petitioner’s attorney, and Mr. Gregory Swain, County attorney, made motions to dismiss based on lack of standing. Mr. Russell Stevenson, Protestants’ attorney, opposed the motions to dismiss and made a motion to add an additional party. Mr. Miller and Mr. Swain argued against Mr. Stevenson’s motion.
Mr. Middlebrooks made a motion, seconded by Mr. Devlin, to grant the motion to dismiss and deny adding Ms. Baergen as an additional party. The motion carried unanimously.
The hearing was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
