Anne Arundel County Board of Appeals met Sept. 6.

Present: Mr. Forgo, Chairman, Mr. Middlebrooks, Vice Chairman, Mr. Devlin, Mr. Dove, and Mr. Hare, Members.
Cathleen F. Ward, Counsel to the Board.
Absent: Ms. Baker Blackshear, and Mr. Breitenbach, Members.
The hearing was convened at 5:30 p.m.
The Board convened to hear testimony on case numbers BA 16-18V, BA 17-18V, Kind Therapeutics, USA.
Mr. Harry Blumenthal, Petitioner’s attorney, made a motion to postpone the hearings due to pending legislation. Mr. David Plott and Mr. Robert Fuoco, attorneys for the Protestants, argued against the postponement request. Mr. Mark Zablotny, spokesperson for Generals Highway Council of Civic Associations, a Protestant, also opposed the postponement request. Mr. Gregory Swain, County attorney, did not oppose the postponement request.
Mr. Hare made a motion, seconded by Mr. Dove, to grant the motion to postpone. The motion carried four (4) to one (1), with Mr. Devlin opposed.
The hearing was postponed on the record to March 19, 2019, March 20, 2019, March 21, 2019, April 23, 2019, April 24, 2019 and April 25, 2019, all beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The hearing was adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
