City of Annapolis issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
City of Annapolis government offices will be closed on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, and Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, for the holiday. The offices will be closed on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, as well.
TRASH/REFUSE/RECYCLING SCHEDULE:
There are no changes to Refuse and Recycling on December 24 or December 31, but on December 25 and January 1, there will be no services. Tuesday collection customers will be shifted by one day, so if your normal collection day is on Tuesday, then collection will occur on Wednesday. There will be no yard or bulk collection on Wednesday, December 26, or Wednesday, January 2, to accommodate the shifted collection schedule.
STANTON CENTER:
The Stanton Center will be closed on Monday, December 24; Tuesday, December 25; and Tuesday, January 1.
PIP MOYER REC CENTER:
Pip Moyer Rec Center will close early at 1 p.m. on December 24, remain closed on December 25, close early at 1 p.m. on December 31, and remain closed on January 1.
ANNNAPOLIS TRANSIT:
There will be no service on Tuesday, December 25, and Tuesday, January 1. On December 24 and December 31, Annapolis Transit will operate a regular weekday service, but NO evening Purple Route.
