Broadneck High School recently issued the following announcement.
For all those 10th and 11th grade students who are interested in applying for membership in the Broadneck High School Chapter of National Honor Society. There will be a mandatory informational meeting on January 8th and 9th immediately after school in the media center. Students must attend one of the sessions to be eligible or stop in to see the adviser Mrs. Dronberger in room A220 before January 11, should a conflict arise.
All sophomores and juniors can apply. The minimum requirements are as follows:
3.5 unweighted GPA
Record of good character
Involvement in school
Volunteer experience in school or community
Students are encouraged to download the application which can be found under “Prospective Members” on the website by going directly to https://broadnecknhs.weebly.com/ or going to Broadneck.org, then Students then National Honor Society. While there check out “A short introduction to NHS,” to see if NHS is the right fit for you.
