This position announcement will be used to fill a full-time permanent Environmental Sanitarian I/II within the Department of Health with Anne Arundel County Government.
This position conducts inspections and investigations for the promotion of environmental health, for the protection of the environment, and for the enforcement of State and local environmental health codes, laws and regulations. Field inspections and/or investigations are conducted on housing complaints, prospective foster/adoptive homes, open fire license applications, as well as Property Maintenance Code enforcement on private and commercial properties with follow-up action, as necessary.
