Salary: $29.40 per hour
Benefits: Participation in the county’s group health plan (including dental, optical and prescription), paid holidays, annual leave and sick leave. The selected employee may also participate in the county’s deferred compensation program at his or her own expense.
This position, under the supervision of the Healthy Start Program Supervisor, will provide education and case management through home visits, face-to-face contacts or telephone calls to high-risk pregnant women and children up to 2 years old. The Community Health Nurse will also provide outreach to private individuals, health care providers, community groups and organizations to educate them about services available and to obtain referrals.
