Anne Arundel Community College issued the following announcement on July 31.
What do you get when you put together eight AACC students and seven United States Naval Academy midshipmen for four *intense* weeks of Russian? Some borscht, a little bit of Uno trash talk (in Russian of course) during breaks and a whole LOT of learning.
The third year of this unique partnership recently wrapped up, with students earning credits and moving up in their language levels for free, thanks to the National Security Agency grant-funded program administered through our World Languages Department. (The pup was on hand to help in an activity where students described attributes of animals).
