Maryland students paid $53,740 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,570 more than the $52,170 charged for 2017-18.
Data shows 70 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 823 students received grants or scholarships totaling $34.6 million and 480 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.1 million.
Including all undergraduates (26,152), 3,232 students used grants or scholarships totaling $123.7 million, and 1,933 students took out $9.7 million in federal student loans.
