Baltimore home prices fell in 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Baltimore fell by $3,269 while total sales decreased by 35.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 9,331 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,731 - a 3.7% decrease over the $89,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 14,396 homes sold in Baltimore in 2019.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,490, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for 2020.
