2019: Home prices in Baltimore fell

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Baltimore fell by $21,000 while total sales increased by 81.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 14,396 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,000 - a 19.1% decrease over the $110,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 7,947 homes sold in Baltimore in 2018.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,490, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for 2019.
