The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Shady Side fell by $18,250 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $258,700 - a 6.6% decrease over the $276,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Shady Side in the second quarter of 2018.
