July 2021: Home prices in Baltimore increased

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2021 in Baltimore rose by $65,000 while total sales increased by 34.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2021, there were 1,349 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 68.4% increase over the $95,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,002 homes sold in Baltimore in July 2020.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,490, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for July 2021.
