On Monday, Feb. 24, three former Archbishop Spalding High School standouts, including Ben Wieman, Cody Sharman and Nate Vermillion’s current college team, the Frostburg State Bobcats, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Goldey-Beacom Lightning.
