Former North County High School standout Skylar Barton played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former North County High School standout Skylar Barton’s current collegiate team the Francis Marion Patriots lost 3-5 against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 3:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the tournament.

The Francis Marion Patriots’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 3:30 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
