North County High School standout Skylar Barton’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Friday, May 9

On Friday, May 9, former North County High School standout Skylar Barton’s current collegiate team the Francis Marion Patriots won 4-0 against the Wingate Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Wingate Bulldogs in the tournament.

The Francis Marion Patriots’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
