Anne Arundel County issued the following announcement on July 11.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) will offer workshops on how to compare Medicare Part D Plans online to State of Maryland Government Retirees.
If you were a State of Maryland Government Retiree, and you were notified by the State of Maryland Department of Budget and Management that you will need to elect a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan for 2019, please sign up for one of the workshops listed below for important information on how to compare your Medicare Part D plans.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities SHIP Program will be hosting demonstrations on how to run a Medicare Part D comparison using. These demonstrations will help you as you prepare to make a Medicare Part D comparison in the upcoming Medicare Part D Annual Enrollment Period. The Medicare Part D Annual Enrollment Period will begin October 15 and run through December 7.

These demonstrations are presented at no cost to the public by Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities SHIP Program. SHIP is a volunteer-based program offering free, unbiased Medicare guidance. SHIP's mission is to help you make the best decisions regarding your Medicare benefits and does not sell insurance!
